Jess Bryan kehrt nach Jahren der Abwesenheit in seine Heimatstadt zurück, die er nach dem Tod des berüchtigten Banditen Gaspar und der Rettung von Jack Bradshaw, der rechten Hand des begüterten Sam Ringold, verlassen hat.
